What we do with your project
Our standard level of service incorporates complete proofreading and basic copyediting. We will check and correct spelling, punctuation, word use, tenses and alignment. We double-check all headlines, titles, captions, graphics, numbers, names and dates - the most common places for overlooked mistakes. We will also make suggestions to improve the overall appearance and presentation of your project, clarify your content and meaning, and improve your readers’ understanding of your document. For academic projects, we will ensure that your paper meets normal standards for academic writing, as well ensure all quotations and citations are correctly formatted. On request, we will provide full copyediting. We also accommodate special editorial instructions from our clients.
Our changes and suggestions will be presented as a combination of notes in the margin and a personalised report. Our staff will remain available for follow-up questions after your project is returned to you.
How to submit a project
Attach your document to an email to service@m2editing.com. In the body of the email include the following information:
§ Your name and contact information
§ The date and time you need the project returned to you (remember to allow enough time to check the changes and suggestions before you must submit your project)
§ Style manual or format to be used (Chicago Manual of Style, APA, MLA, etc.) or special stylistic and formatting requirements
§ A brief description of the project
For corporate projects, such as websites, and other projects which are not standard documents, please ask for special submission instructions. In your request, briefly describe your project, including the file types and software involved.
After you submit your project
We will respond to you within 24 hours and provide a price quote for your project. If you wish, we will also provide a sample of our work by editing a portion of your document and returning it to you for approval.
What we charge
We strive to maintain fair and competitive prices for all projects. We offer lower prices than our competitors for equivalent services. When we assess projects, we do not charge for any images included in the body of the document. We also adjust the price to reflect any substantially blank pages in the document, as it's not fair to charge to edit white spaces.
Due to the unique nature of each project, we often need to assess each individually to determine the appropriate fee. Please call or email us to discuss your project. Please note that for billing purposes, a page is considered to be 260 words.

An additional fee will be charged for projects with very short turnaround times (generally less than two business days). This fee will depend on the size of the project, the amount of time available to complete the project, and whether completion will require our staff to work outside of normal business hours.
Payment by Interac email money transfer or PayPal is preferred. Payments by Paypal are assessed a small processing surcharge. Rates do not include applicable taxes.
